dc.description.abstractThis article examines the work of a team of six clinical practice educators employed by a large integrated Mental Health and Community Health NHS Trust over a two year period. The article assesses how the role of the clinical practice educator can have impact in clinical settings and influence the delivery of evidence based care for both staff and students on placement within the trust, and offers examples of work carried out so far. Evaluation of the role is discussed and plans for future development of the team considered.en
